The basic details are as follows:   Title: Senior Marketing Consultant  CTC - Upto 18 LPA  Scope / Reporting structure / Base Location: Global/Senior Management/Bangalore  Experience / Age bracket 6 – 10 yrs/ 27 – 33 Years  Education: Masters degree in Business Administration from a good business school with Marketing as one of the focus areas  Industry Preference: open but good if from FMCG/Consumer Durables/Telecom   Job Description:  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  - Work with clients to understand their financials,marketing metrics and data and project requirements   - Work with team of analysts and domain experts to understand client issues, convert them into data problems, analyze these problems and create presentations that present the “story” from the analysis to clients  - Independently manage day-to-day delivery of results along with team of analysts, ensure project deliverables are on-track at all times  - Team management role – act as leader of the team and lead appraisal process and day-to-day team management and team building activities  - Play a business development role and generate additional projects from other clients  - Ensure all client deliverables meet client expectations in terms of scope, speed & quality  - Continuously gather &work on client inputs, perspectives, thinking & feedback  ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALITIES  - Ability to understand consumer-goods company data especially relating to marketing & sales  - Ability to create frameworks to assess issues, particularly relating to marketing ROI. Experience in management consulting preferred.  - Ability to work with complex spreadsheets with reams of financial data & supervise analysts working on the same  - Excellent marketing domain knowledge understanding, particularly in the consumer goods domain.   - Should be good at Analytical thinking & breaking down large problems into solvable chunks  - Should be interested in converting business issues into analytical problems, dealing with large and complex datasets and teasing out insights from data  - Should be a team-player, able to delegate tasks to other team members and check accuracy of output, take inputs from and work closely with team.  - Should be willing to continuously co-ordinate with teams in and out of India and hence work late hours if required. Should be willing to travel abroad at short notice  - Have a consulting orientation; gather different perspectives, examples and use them to enrich day-to-day work  - Top notch communication skills. Need to be able to handle meetings with VP level clients and present briefs, analysis, findings in a crisp, concise & impactful manner  - Understanding of Specifications/Grasping Power.
