About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join our team and bridge the gap between business objectives and technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder communication, along with hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile or hybrid environment.
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing business needs, designing functional solutions, and supporting the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects that drive business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand goals, challenges, and opportunities.
- Conduct requirements workshops, interviews, and user story sessions to capture business needs.
- Translate business needs into clear, detailed, and actionable functional and non-functional requirements.
- Document use cases, user stories, process flows, data models, and business rules.
- Validate requirements with stakeholders and manage requirement sign-off processes.
2. Solution Design & Documentation
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.
- Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and User Story backlogs.
- Assist in defining acceptance criteria and test cases to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
- Participate in solution design reviews, providing inputs to ensure feasibility and business value.
3. Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
- Act as the bridge between business, technology, and operations teams.
- Facilitate regular meetings to track progress, discuss changes, and clarify requirements.
- Communicate complex business concepts in a simple, concise, and structured manner.
- Support change management activities by preparing impact assessments and communication plans.
4. Testing & Validation
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating outputs, and coordinating with end users.
- Ensure defect management and traceability from requirements to test results.
- Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to optimize business processes through automation, digital tools, or workflow redesign.
- Analyze existing systems and recommend enhancements or upgrades.
- Support data-driven decision-making by creating reports, dashboards, and insights.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business analysis, Agile methodologies, and digital transformation.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- 4 - 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT / BFSI / Healthcare / Telecom / Product / Consulting domains.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, requirements elicitation, and documentation techniques.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments and using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis, SQL, Excel, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Development, and Operations).
- Familiarity with UAT, traceability matrices, and defect tracking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities
