
What You'll Do
Strategic Execution:
- Work closely with the CTO to define, communicate, and execute the technology strategy and key priorities.
- Track progress against strategic goals, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively develop solutions.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions and workshops, with internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Establish yourself as a thought leader with R&D
Operational Excellence:
- Manage the CTO's calendar, communications, and workflow, ensuring efficient use of their time.
- Act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CTO.
- Develop and implement processes to improve organizational efficiency and communication within the technology teams.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other communications for internal and external audiences.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage cross-functional strategic projects on behalf of the CTO, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and track progress, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear communication among stakeholders.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between the CTO and other departments, fostering strong working relationships.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication of the CTO's vision and priorities across the organization.
- Facilitate effective communication flow within the technology leadership team.
- Prepare and deliver internal communications on behalf of the CTO.
- Develop strong, credible relationships with customers, positioning yourself as their trusted advisor on behalf of CTO.
Talent and Culture:
- Partner with C&T on talent-related initiatives within the technology organization, including organizational design, talent development, and employee engagement.
- Help to foster a positive and high-performing culture within the technology teams.
Support internal communication efforts related to organizational changes and key initiatives.
Confidentiality and Discretion:
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.1
- Act as a trusted advisor and sounding board for the CTO.
Experience Requirement:
- Candidates must have substantial experience as CoS to CXOs, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the technology, business applications, and managing executive level communications.
Who Are You & What Makes You Qualified?
- The COS should have 12 to 15 Years experience in a CoS role to a CXO level leadership or in a strategic, operational, or project management role within a technology company.
- 3 to 5 yrs of experience in top tier consulting firms
- Experience in managing CXO level conversations and working directly with senior leadership (VP level or above) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, technology trends, and the tech industry along with proficiency in project management tools and productivity software.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling presentations and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Should be flexible to work across time zones.
