This is equity based co-founder role  We're looking to have a Full Stack Developer who can also serve as our Chief Technology Officer and over time take leadership of growing our technology team. We are a rapidly growing start-up positioned to be a major player in the evolving sports & fitness eco-system.   As CTO, you will be directly responsible for setting and executing the Company's overall technology strategy and implementation. We are looking for well qualified candidates with the unique ability to perform well in the weeds as a coder but also a high level as a technology manager and leader.  - We are also looking for a candidate with knowledge of web services, software development and technology architecture design & implementation  - Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application.  - Building reusable code and libraries for future use.  - Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.  - Implementation of security and data protection.  - Translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements.  - Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application.  Skills and Qualifications :  - 4+ years experience as a full stack web developer.  - Proficient knowledge of PHP Laravel and Angular JS  - Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms (such as mobile vs, desktop), and optimizing output to match the specific platform.  - Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors.  - Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.  - Data migration, transformation, and scripting.  - Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes.  - Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.  - Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, ability to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.  - Proficient understanding of Git.  - Proficient understanding of RESTful APIs.
