About Sports for Life (SFL)
Sports for Life is building the next generation of sports ecosystems in India - investing in and transforming academies through technology, operations, and performance excellence. We aim to bridge the gap between grassroots and professional sports by integrating coaching, analytics, and holistic player development.
The new Sports For Life Plus Vertical will act as a consulting arm, offering end-to-end support for academies and athletes across multiple disciplines.
About the Role
We are launching Sports For Life Plus, a consulting vertical that brings together experts in sports science, performance, and career development. This initiative will offer integrated services to academies and athletes including:
- Physiotherapy and Injury Management
- Strength & Conditioning
- Sports Psychology
- Diet & Nutrition
- College Counselling for Sports Scholarships
- Player Representation (Agents)
We're looking for a dynamic MBA graduate to lead this vertical, coordinate between specialists, design the business model, identify growth opportunities, and help scale it across India.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Business Development
- Develop the business model and go-to-market plan for the Sports Plus vertical.
- Identify potential partner academies and athletes who can benefit from Sports Plus services.
- Build pricing structures and monetization strategies.
- Work with the leadership team to define growth targets and performance metrics.
2. Operations & Coordination
- Manage a multidisciplinary team of professionals - physiotherapists, S&C coaches, dietitians, psychologists, and agents.
- Ensure seamless collaboration and service delivery to partner academies.
- Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and reporting systems.
3. Partnerships & Outreach
- Build relationships with academies, sports federations, and institutions.
- Create collaboration opportunities with universities and international organizations for player pathways.
- Develop content, case studies, and workshops to showcase Sports Plus expertise.
4. Marketing & Brand Positioning
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns highlighting the Sports Plus offering.
- Represent SFL and Sports Plus at sports and education events, conferences, and forums.
5. Financial & Performance Tracking
- Monitor revenue, costs, and ROI for each service vertical.
- Prepare quarterly growth reports and strategic reviews.
Qualifications
- MBA from a reputed institute (preferably with focus in Sports Management, Strategy, or Marketing).
- Passion for sports, fitness, and athlete development.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior internship or experience in consulting, sports management, or business development is preferred.
