Program Manager - Supply Quality (3-6 yrs)
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Program Manager Supply Quality, you will own quality operations for Spinny's vehicle inspection process within the Supply function driving execution discipline across a ground network of 1,200+ inspectors and new technology/automation projects that improve how the team works. This is primarily an operations leadership role: you will be responsible for inspection quality ops at scale, and for building the systems and people processes that keep a large, distributed field team performing. The person will also drive select technology and automation initiatives that make quality operations more efficient. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on ground-level execution and problem-solving with large teams, brings genuine automotive/vehicle domain expertise, and can additionally bring a technology/automation mindset to the table.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Education Qualifications:- A B.Tech in Automotive/Automobile/Mechanical Engineering + 5+ years of hands-on Program Management experience.
- OR an MBA + B.Tech in Automotive/Automobile Engineering + 3+ years of Program Management experience.
2. Operational Duties:- Own end-to-end quality operations across a field network of 1,200+ inspectors driving inspection accuracy & consistency.
- Bring good automotive/vehicle knowledge to define and continuously refine inspection standards, defect checklists, and quality benchmarks.
- Build and manage the team structure, training, and performance systems needed to run ground operations reliably across locations.
- Drive key quality & ops metrics through hands-on field engagement, reviews, and course correction.
- Identify process gaps and inefficiencies in day-to-day ground execution and drive structured problem-solving to closure.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Central Ops) to identify and implement automation opportunities that reduce manual effort for the inspection team.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and compliance standards across all supply quality operations.
- Lead complex projects spanning process, people, or technology from scoping through on-ground rollout and adoption.
REQUIREMENTS:- B.Tech or equivalent degree, with a specialisation in Automotive strongly preferred.
- MBA will be preferred.
- At least 23 years in a fast-paced startup or automotive OEM environment.
- Strong automotive/vehicle domain knowledge understanding of vehicle systems, common defects, and inspection/quality standards.
- Proven experience managing large, distributed field teams and driving operational discipline at scale.
- Working knowledge of using AI/automation to streamline daily workflows.
- A history of taking complex, ambiguous projects from concept to completion.
- Sharp problem-solving instincts, with a bias for structured, data-driven decision-making.
