About the Role:
We are seeking a senior-level Specifications Head Sales to drive product specifications across PAN India construction and design projects. This role focuses on influencing projects at the concept and design stage, securing approvals, and converting specifications into business through strong coordination with internal sales teams, contractors, and channel partners.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Identify and track construction projects at concept, design, and tender stages
- Secure product specifications with architects, consultants, designers, PMCs, and developers
- Ensure product approvals and inclusion in BOQs and tender documents
- Maintain a strong project pipeline and regularly update CRM and project tracking tools
- Build long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, and developers
- Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and CPD sessions
- Act as the primary technical and commercial contact during the specification phase
- Coordinate with channel sales teams, contractors, and distributors to convert specifications into orders
- Support pricing discussions, submittals, mockups, samples, and technical clarifications
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely follow-ups until order execution
- Track competitor activity, alternative materials, and emerging design trends
- Share market insights with marketing, product, and management teams
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and architects networking forums
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number and value of specifications secured
- Specification-to-order conversion rate
- Active project pipeline value
- Architect and consultant engagement metrics
- Revenue contribution from specified projects
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Strong leadership, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Strategic, result-driven, and execution-focused mindset
- Strong understanding of specification sales, BOQs, tenders, and project lifecycle
- Good knowledge of Laminates products
Job Location: Noida (PAN India role)
Qualification: Graduate / BTech and MBA
Preferred Industry: Building Materials / Construction / Interior Products
Experience Required: 12+ Years
