Specialist - Strategic Sourcing - Private Wealth Firm

Role Overview:

This role focuses on evaluating and managing a diverse range of private market investments, including late-stage PE/VC opportunities, pre-IPO deals, Fund of Funds, and Special Investment Vehicles. Responsibilities include in-depth due diligence, robust financial modeling, market research to identify emerging opportunities, transaction structuring and execution, and ongoing portfolio performance management.

Financial:

- Source and evaluate high-potential private market opportunities

- Build and maintain a strong network with PE, VC, and IB firms to access quality deal flow

- Prepare financial models and analyze financial statements

- Monitor portfolio performance against industry benchmarks and key financial/operational metrics

Strategic:

- Collaborate with senior leadership to align private market strategies with overall business objectives

- Identify macroeconomic, sectoral, and regulatory trends to inform strategic investment decisions

- Contribute to whitepapers, thought leadership, and internal knowledge building

- Liaise with external advisors, consultants, and partners to enhance investment strategy

Operational:

- Conduct end-to-end due diligence, including legal, commercial, operational, and compliance assessments

- Draft investment memos and present findings to the investment committee

- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams for transaction documentation and execution

- Manage post-investment monitoring and reporting processes

- Ensure adherence to internal processes, governance standards, and regulatory requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

- CA / MBA / CFA with 57 years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or alternative investments

- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

- Excellent understanding of private market deal structures and fund vehicles

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills

- High level of attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
