Job Summary:
The Public Relations will be responsible for managing brand reputation, building strong public and media relationships, promoting product launches, and enhancing brand visibility for the jewellery business across traditional and digital platforms.
The PRO will play a key role in communicating brand values such as trust, craftsmanship, purity, and luxury while engaging customers, influencers, and the community.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Brand & Media Communication:
- Develop, plan, and execute PR strategies for brand positioning in the jewellery market (gold, diamond, bridal, etc.
- Draft press releases, product launch announcements, and brand stories aligned to luxury & heritage.
- Maintain strong relationships with fashion journalists, bloggers, influencers, lifestyle magazines, event partners, and TV/online media.
- Coordinate studio visits, showroom experiences, and jewellery photoshoot PR coverage.
Marketing & Events:
- Support marketing campaigns, showroom events, festive launches, bridal expos, influencer collaborations, and celebrity meet-ups.
- Organize PR-driven activities related to festivals (Akshaya Tritiya, Onam, Diwali, Wedding seasons), new collection launches, and showroom inaugurations.
- Assist in gifting, sponsorship, and CSR-related brand visibility initiatives.
Digital & Social Reputation:
- Monitor brand mentions, customer reviews, and online sentiment (Google, FB, Insta, WhatsApp, review sites).
- Coordinate with social media and content teams for storytelling, reels, testimonials, and trend marketing.
- Handle negative publicity or brand concerns professionally and confidentially.
Customer & Community Engagement:
- Build community relationships with wedding planners, fashion stylists, local associations, and VIP customers.
- Enhance brand image through ethical communication and customer trust initiatives.
- Support loyalty programs, influencer visits, brand ambassadors, and brand collaborations.
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent media handling & networking.
- Social media awareness and digital trend adaptability.
- Creative storytelling & content writing ability.
- Good understanding of jewellery market (designs, purity, BIS norms, craftsmanship, bridal trends).
- Event planning and public speaking confidence.
- Crisis & reputation management.
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Marketing or equivalent.
- 5+ years of PR experience; luxury, retail, fashion, jewellery, beauty or lifestyle industry preferred
