Specialist - Private Equity

Key Responsibilities:

Private Equity & Fund Accounting

- Perform and review Private Equity/Credit Fund Accounting, including portfolio accounting, investor accounting, and investment-level transactions.

- Prepare and review PCAPs, capital calls, distributions, accruals, and workpaper packages.

- Support and execute NAV preparation, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

- Handle waterfall calculations, management fee computations, and carried interest allocations.

- Process investor reporting, including capital activity statements, distribution notices, and financial statements.

Tools & Systems:

- Work on industry-standard platforms like Geneva, Investran, and other fund accounting systems.

- Maintain accurate transaction-level records and ensure system updates are timely and compliant.

Investor & Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and review detailed investor reporting packs, including statements, schedules, and performance metrics.

- Support preparation of financial statements (GAAP/IFRS) for PE funds.

- Coordinate with audit teams for year-end processes and deliverables.

Operations & Stakeholder Management:

- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and investors related to fund operations.

- Ensure delivery excellence, quality control, and adherence to SLAs.

- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation initiatives.

People Leadership (For TL / TM / SDM levels):

- Lead and mentor a team of analysts, SMEs, and associates.

- Oversee workload allocation, performance reviews, and team development.

- Ensure operational governance, issue resolution, and timely deliverables.

- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 3 - 12 years of experience in Private Equity, Credit Fund Accounting, Hedge Fund Accounting, or Capital Markets.

- Hands-on experience with NAV calculation, waterfall, management fees, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

- Strong expertise in Private Equity investor reporting, capital activity (calls/distributions), and fund structures.

- Working knowledge of Geneva, Investran, or similar accounting systems (highly preferred).

- Strong understanding of financial instruments, valuation concepts, and fund operations.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
