Role Overview:


The Learning & Development Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing a comprehensive learning and development strategy that supports organizational goals, enhances employee capabilities, and maintains high standards of service and compliance in the Hospital Industry.


Key Responsibilities:


Learning & Development Strategy:


- Develop and execute a well-rounded L&D strategy aligned with company objectives.


- Create a structured learning plan catering to all employee levels, from frontline staff to senior leadership.


- Ensure all training programs meet relevant accreditation standards such as NABH for hospitals and industry regulations for hospitality and aviation.


Training Program Design & Delivery:


- Design and conduct behavioral and leadership development sessions for employees at every level.


- Implement blended learning approaches incorporating e-learning, practical workshops, and simulation exercises.


- Manage onboarding behavior training to enable smooth integration of new hires.


Leadership Development:


- Develop leadership programs for senior managers, department heads, and high-potential employees within the organization.


- Facilitate executive coaching to nurture emerging leaders.


Training Effectiveness & Analysis:


- Define assessment criteria and carry out post-training evaluations to measure outcomes.


- Collect and analyze feedback from participants and key stakeholders to refine programs.


- Evaluate training ROI to ensure alignment with the business's strategic goals.


Employee Engagement & Performance Development:


- Identify skills gaps and training needs through surveys, performance reviews, and stakeholder inputs.


- Work alongside HR to integrate learning programs with performance management systems.


- Promote a culture of ongoing learning and active employee participation.


Compliance & Accreditation Management:


- Maintain detailed training records for audits and regulatory reviews.


- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to support compliance-driven learning initiatives.


Collaboration & Change Leadership:


- Coordinate closely with leadership, HR, nursing and medical teams (hospital), hospitality management, and aviation departments to roll out learning initiatives.


- Partner with external trainers, academic institutions, and industry experts for specialized training.


- Lead organizational change efforts to embed a learning-focused culture.


Innovation & Continuous Improvement:


- Keep updated on the latest trends and best practices in healthcare, hospitality, and aviation training methodologies.


- Implement innovative, technology-driven solutions such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual learning modules.


Budget & Vendor Management:


- Prepare and oversee the L&D budget ensuring cost-efficient training delivery.


- Allocate resources effectively between internal and external training programs.


- Monitor vendor performance and ensure high quality in outsourced training services.
