Specialist - Investor Relations


Description: We are seeking a high-caliber, strategic leader to fill the role of Specialist of Investor Relations. This is a pivotal leadership position designed for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the Power and Energy sector. You will be the primary architect of our investment narrative, managing the interface between the company and the global financial community to drive long-term shareholder value.


Position Overview

Industry: Power / Energy Sector

Experience: 18 to 25 Years

Location: Remote (with Office Immersion/Travel as required)

Core Responsibilities

1. Strategy, Messaging & Positioning

- Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy that aligns with the companys long-term vision in the Power sector.

- Craft a compelling "Equity Story," articulating complex operational data and energy transition goals into clear, persuasive investment narratives.

2. Investor & Analyst Engagement

- Serve as the primary spokesperson to the financial community, maintaining deep relationships with buy-side investors and sell-side analysts.

- Organize and lead earnings calls, roadshows, investor days, and site visits (Power plant/Infrastructure immersions).

3. Disclosure, Reporting & Regulatory Compliance

- Oversee the preparation of annual reports, quarterly earnings releases, and ESG disclosures.

- Ensure absolute compliance with all regulatory requirements and stock exchange listing obligations.

4. Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop

- Monitor sector trends, competitor performance, and market sentiment to provide actionable insights to the Board and C-suite.

- Track and analyze shareholder movements and institutional ownership changes.

5. Corporate Actions & Growth Initiatives

- Provide IR support for capital raising, M&A activities, and other corporate actions.

- Advise leadership on the potential impact of strategic decisions on the companys valuation.

6. Crisis & Reputation Management

- Develop proactive communication plans for market volatility, regulatory changes, or operational crises within the Power sector.

- Protect the organizations reputation through transparent and timely stakeholder communication.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Industry Experience: 18+ years of experience, with a significant portion dedicated to the Power, Utilities, or Infrastructure sectors.

Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and capital markets.

Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex industrial concepts for the investment community.

Strategic Leadership: Proven track record of influencing C-level executives and Boards of Directors.

Regulatory Knowledge: Strong grasp of SEBI/SEC guidelines (as applicable) and global reporting standards.
