Role Overview:
This Specialist International Tax role is responsible for providing comprehensive international tax advice and support to our clients. You will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, assisting them with cross-border transactions, transfer pricing strategies, and international tax compliance. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective tax planning and risk management, ultimately contributing to our clients' global success and our firm's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on international tax planning opportunities and strategies to optimize their global tax position.
- Manage transfer pricing studies, documentation, and compliance for multinational enterprises.
- Ensure compliance with international tax laws and regulations, including treaty interpretation and application.
- Conduct research and analysis on complex international tax issues to provide accurate and timely advice.
- Assist clients with cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings, from a tax perspective.
- Prepare and review international tax returns and related filings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including direct tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing specialists, to provide integrated solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand their business needs and provide tailored tax advice.
- Stay abreast of changes in international tax laws and regulations to provide proactive guidance to clients.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in international tax principles and practices.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective international tax strategies.
- Strong understanding of transfer pricing methodologies and documentation requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex tax issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with UK Taxation.
- Familiarity with Direct Tax and Indirect Taxation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) preferred.
- Adaptability to work in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.
