General Information Job title - Communications Specialist : Group Finance Department - Corp. Brand Custodian Location - Ahmedabad Job Objective: - The Financial Communications Specialist will oversee all communications requirement of the Group Finance team. - As our Financial Communications Specialist you will work closely with our Investor Relations team and Group Finance head to shape our external and internal communications about our business, strategy, and financial performance. Working with the broader communications team, you will be in charge of telling our corporate and financial story and developing narrative and creative content for our corporate channels. Roles and Responsibilities : - Leading the development and implementation of a financial communications strategy in close cooperation with our Investor Relations and other financial teams - Expert storytelling: Using your financial and business expertise to craft editorial content and press releases. - Handling international and national media inquiries, creating presentations, updating media materials, monitoring of relevant topics and the broader media landscape, organizing media events - First point of contact for all financial communications - internally and externally and advising SVP and management on all aspects of financial communications. - Contributing to internal communications tasks such as providing financial and corporate content - Position the organization well by establishing Senior Leadership/CXO as thought leaders through strategic communication on digital and traditional platforms. - Create an annual bank of stories around the organization and its success. - Assigning, generating, and collating written work and adding flair and polish to individual pieces Educational Qualification: - Candidate should possess graduation degree or Masters' degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field. Experiences: - Over 10-15 years of experience as a journalist/analyst in Financial/business media, corporate/financial communications, or consulting environment - Can do in-depth research and provide data and content for the PR team and journalists for stories, IR reports and thought leadership pieces - Must have innate storytelling skills and the ability to identify newsworthiness, spot potential stories and create narratives around routine corporate events. - Proven experience and talent in financial storytelling, combined with a strong interest in capital markets-related topics - Excellent (native level) written and spoken English. - Relevant network in the India and international financial, business and trade media as well as the broader financial community - Strong planning and organizational skills combined with a high degree of independence, confident manner, and a results-oriented, pro-active, and hands-on approach to work
