1. Strategic Planning & Editorial Calendar:

- Develop and maintain a quarterly editorial calendar covering website articles, blog posts, in-app guides, and video scripts.

- Align content themes with product launches, astrological events, and overarching marketing objectives.

2. Creative Content Ideation & Execution:

- Identify emerging astrology trends, seasonal themes, and audience interests to generate fresh content angles.

- Craft and publish a diverse mix of content formats long-form feature stories, interactive quizzes, listicles, illustrated explainers, and in-app journeys.

- Lead the end-to-end creative process: from concept and outline through writing, design briefs, review cycles, and final delivery.

- Ensure every piece reflects a unique brand voice, combines accuracy with storytelling flair, and delights our audience.

3. Social Media & Video Scripting:

- Conceptualize and script engaging short-form video series (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and social posts.

- Develop storyboards, visual briefs, opening hooks, and calls to action that maximize shareability and follower engagement.

- Collaborate with video editors and designers to execute polished, on-brand social assets.

4. Campaign Execution & Creative Analytics:

- Plan and launch organic and paid content campaigns across social media, email newsletters, and partner channels.

- Track creative performance metrics engagement rates, watch time, shares and derive actionable insights to refine future content.

- Run A/B tests on headlines, thumbnails, and formats to optimize creative impact.

5. Collaboration & Project Management:

- Work closely with illustrators, designers, videographers, and freelance writers briefing deliverables, managing feedback, and ensuring on-time completion.

- Act as the content lead in brainstorming sessions, client pitches, and cross-functional meetings.

- Maintain clear project plans, content briefs, and production schedules across multiple concurrent initiatives.

6. Thought Leadership & Innovation:

- Stay abreast of astrology research, storytelling techniques, digital content tools, and platform innovations.

- Pitch and pilot new content formats podcasts, webinars, live Q&A sessions to expand brand authority and audience touchpoints.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, or related field.

- 3+ years of content marketing, editorial, or creative agency experience, ideally in lifestyle, entertainment, or passion-driven verticals.

- Proven ability to conceive and execute standout creative content across multiple formats portfolio or work samples required.

- Exceptional copywriting and narrative skills, with talent for distilling complex astrology concepts into relatable, engaging stories.

- Proficiency with CMS (WordPress, Contentful), content planning tools, and social-media publishing platforms.

- Hands-on experience scripting and overseeing production of short-form video for social channels.

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple fast-paced projects with tight deadlines.

- Strong communicator and collaborator, with experience leading freelancers and small creative teams.
