The Role: HRBP - Associate Director  The Team : HRBP team is responsible for providing strategic support to the business in all people related matters. The HR business partners share the responsibility for the goals and targets delivery along with business. As a team we collaborate and work together to drive the business agenda.  The Impact: The Human Resources Business Partner position provides direct HR management and support for assigned business units/teams. There is immense learning opportunity for the candidate as the organization continues to evolve itself and as HR team we work and collaborate with HR team members across geographies.  Responsibilities:  - Coordination and management of a full range of HR activities across a diverse set of SPGMI business units in India; partner with regional HR colleagues to ensure global agenda is achieved while handling local requirements.  - Provide direct and indirect insight to business heads and their teams on complex HR issues, including employee relations, talent development, retention and recruitment strategies, with the ability to recognize and involve specialist members of other resources within HR where appropriate  - Promote superior leadership and management skills.  - Design and deliver creative HR solutions that assist in sustaining a positive working environment to develop employee engagement.  - Facilitate implementation of training & development programs and strategies, utilizing global internal resources and external resources as appropriate, to support improved business performance. Develop a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement.  - Develop human capital plan to execute business goals: define needs, organizational profile, and build talent mindset within organization.  - Drive the Performance Management Process with employees and managers. Facilitate review sessions with management to ensure consistency. .  - Counsel employees and managers in areas of performance improvement and in identifying training and development opportunities. Coach managers to lead employee performance issues.  - Coordinate with the business on strategic workforce design and collaborate with Talent Acquisition to identify current and future leaders. Develop a diversity strategy to support this.  - Partner with management teams on restructuring and talent development processes  - In partnership with Talent Acquisition address sourcing strategies that support the recruitment, selection, and diversity hiring activities for corporate groups.  - Consult with employees and managers on a wide variety of employee relations issues and work with the management teams to build a positive employee relations environment  What We're Looking For:  - Ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately, exercise discretion as appropriate, and remain sensitive to individual situations.  - A track record of success as an ambassador of change in a complex, dynamic and results-driven global organization.  - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including strong presentation skills.  - Demonstrated ability to provide solutions to issues that are consistent with our compliance, legislative and organizational frameworks.  - The ability to handle projects through to successful conclusion, using sound judgment and autonomy where appropriate.  - Master's degree preferred and 12+ years of dynamic human resource business partner experience.  - Possess a sound knowledge of employment law, policy development, recruitment and resourcing, and be able to clearly and concisely explain these to non-HR staff in a credible way, and to be able to advise on practical application of such, suitable to the business area concerned.  - Complete workforce forecasting, planning and analyzes, succession planning, and career development planning.  About S&P Global  Formally known as McGraw Hill Financial, it includes Ratings, Market Intelligence, S&P Dow Jones Indices and Platts.
