JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- 4 year University/College degree or equivalent

- 4+ years of sourcing and/or merchandising experience

- Fluent in English and local communication

- Storytelling and influencing skills

- Strong problem solving, negotiation, and planning & organizational skill

- Good in data analysis, critical thinking and strategic thought process

- Adaptive, Self-driven, self-motivated

Desired Requirements:

- Knowledge of required products and sourcing operations

- Experience with well-known brand Buying Offices from US and European retailors

- Knowledge of market and industry within the relevant geographic area (able to identify competitors' activities/development to share with HQ, Cross functional and Global Teams)

- Product knowledge (Apparels, Home, Hardgoods as applicable) with an understanding of the industry landscape and key player

- Excellent communication skills in English and local office language, both written and verbal

- Strong ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders with multiple cultural backgrounds and to influence without authority

- Strong MS office skills and able to use all relevant tools and systems

- Knowledge of U.S. business regulations and compliance processes within the area of responsibility (customs, general & social compliance issues, anti-dumping, duty rates, minimum certification requirements)

- Broad yet in-depth knowledge of U.S. retail industry (competitors and different market segments, price levels at company,

- Experience with well-known brand Buying Offices from US and European retailers preferred

- Knowledge of required products and sourcing operations preferred.

- Problem solving, negotiating, planning and organizational skills

- Analytical thinking skills and holistic approach to understand & interpret reports, market trends and prepare reports.

- Able to plan & drive meetings effectively and good presentation skills

- Client-focused and service-driven, team player.

- Assertive with strong initiative, committed to continuous learning

- Eligible to work in designated country

- Ability to travel extensively within designated country.
