About:
- Own inventory health and accuracy across all dark store locations.
- Design and implement stock allocation and replenishment models based on consumption, real-time demand, and hyperlocal trends.
- Collaborate with demand planners to forecast SKU-level requirements at store level, considering perishability and regional seasonality.
- Monitor and improve key metrics like fill rates, stockouts, stock cover (WOS), shrinkage, expiry loss, and inventory turnover.
- Work with store ops teams to audit, reconcile, and reduce inventory mismatches.
- Partner with tech and analytics to build dashboards and alerting systems for inventory anomalies.
- Roll out new stores with playbooks for initial inventory loading, SKU rationalization, and reorder thresholds.
- Lead root cause analyses of availability issues and implement systemic fixes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2-7 years experience in inventory management, category ops, or warehouse/supply chain program management (Quick commerce, grocery, or high-SKU-count retail experience strongly preferred)
- Strong data analysis skills - advanced Excel; knowledge of SQL, Python, or Power BI is a plus
- Deep understanding of last-mile fulfillment, dark store operations, and ERP/WMS systems
- Operational problem-solving mindset - able to manage ambiguity and design from scratch
