Job Description: Solytics is seeking strong Data Scientists with 2+ years of experience in AML/Fraud analytics. The candidate would be part of the team working on developing/validating ML/NLP models for AML/Fraud and development of applications for AML/Fraud Candidate must also have rich experience in technologies such as R, Python, Spark, Hadoop, GitHub, Hdfs, and relational and non-relational databases Responsibilities - Development, monitoring, and enhancement of machine learning and quantitative models - Assess current and future state of AML/Fraud surveillance, platform, policies, and procedures to promote continuous improvement. - Development of automated tools to investigate alerts - Write and refine business requirements and develop programming specifications - Collaborate well with stakeholders drive initiatives to transform and modernize the monitoring capabilities of the compliance function. Key Skills : - 2+ years of experience in data analysis/model development using Python, R, PySpark - Expertise in application development using technologies like Python, Spark, Hadoop, GitHub, Hdfs - Rich experience in data mining/analytics and in Big Data products like Cassandra, Cloudera. - Rich technology experience - SQL, Oracle/Sybase/Hive or any relational - databases/Big Data - Sound knowledge of AML transaction monitoring with at least 2 years of experience in financial crime analytics including threshold tuning & optimization, customer segmentation, scenario testing and validation - Prior experience as quant in banking industry in AML/Fraud domain. - Strong expertise in statistical tests and Machine Learning and deep learning modelling techniques - The candidate should have attention to detail, and excellent analytical, problem solving, time management skills - Willingness and commitment to walk extra mile to achieve client delight and ensure high quality output delivery within stringent timelines - Excellent verbal and written English communication skills - Ability to manage own assignment independently. - Ability to work with colleagues/clients located globally, and client. Strong stakeholder management skills - Proficiency in MS Office applications Good at creating and delivering impactful presentations
