Solutions Architect - Insurance Domain

Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of robust, scalable technology frameworks within the Insurance domain. In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between complex business requirements and high-performance technical execution, ensuring our digital ecosystem aligns with long-term strategic goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams, senior stakeholders, and engineering squads to translate intricate insurance workflows into seamless, automated solutions. By driving architectural excellence, you will directly influence the efficiency of our policy administration, claims processing, and customer engagement platforms, ultimately enhancing the digital experience for millions of policyholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design end-to-end enterprise solutions for Life Insurance platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability to support business growth.

- Lead the technical roadmap by evaluating emerging technologies and integrating them into the existing stack to maintain a competitive edge in the insurance market.

- Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to decompose complex insurance business rules into modular, maintainable technical specifications.

- Mentor engineering teams on Java-based microservices architecture and best practices to ensure code quality and system performance across all development cycles.

- Oversee the integration of third-party insurance APIs and legacy systems to ensure seamless data flow and operational continuity for internal stakeholders.

- Conduct rigorous architectural reviews and risk assessments to mitigate technical debt and ensure compliance with industry-standard security protocols.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in architecting large-scale enterprise applications within the Insurance domain, with a deep understanding of the Life Insurance lifecycle.

- Proven ability to design and implement complex systems using Java and modern microservices frameworks, ensuring high throughput and low latency.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at the leadership level.

- Strong analytical mindset to troubleshoot systemic bottlenecks and optimize performance in high-transaction environments.

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, hybrid work environment in Mumbai, fostering strong relationships across distributed teams.

- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in software architecture and design.
