Solution Lead/Technical Architect

Job Context

The domain being financial services (specifically around transaction banking) , there are continuous evolving requirements and feature lists that will be presented to the technology team.

The solution lead has to balance the architecture design for functional requirements to meet the clients need vis- vis the need to meet non functional requirements such as performance, reliability, security, scalability, audit among others.

Enabling Skill Sets , Qualifications & Experiences

- Strong technical background and broad set of IT skills, built up through direct involvement with a wide range of technologies and solutions involving infrastructure architecture, application architecture and design, systems integration, (including APIs), workflow, data and information management.

Fairly proficient in technical, functional, and non-functional knowledge of:

- Networking

- Server infrastructure and virtualization

- Cloud infrastructure

- AWS/GCP/ Azure

- Middleware

- Databases

- Strong Understanding of Web based application architecture and technologies and having hands-on experience in developing Microservices using Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.

- Hand-on in XML, XSD, API technologies, Java, JEE, Spring framework, Web Services (SOAP and REST), message brokers (e.g. ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka etc.), RDBMS, No SQL databases, Web Applications, Authentication, Security concepts and should be hands-on if need be.

- Reactive programming experience is preferred (e.g. RxJava, Observers, event-driven programming principles)

- Should have sound understanding of basic infra fundamentals and experience around VMs, AD, Certificates, SAML, OAUTH, Scalability, DR, HA, Performance testing.

- Should have working experience with the Agile/Scrum approach.

- Education required for this role is graduate with 3-6 years of experience of working in delivering microservices led applications in high volume banking transactions setups. Out of this, the expectation is to have working as an application/solution` lead for at least 2 years in a dynamic product based tech organisation focussed on core banking or related middleware application.
