Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect - IT Asset Management (ITAM) to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of ServiceNow IT Asset Management solutions, including Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro).

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow ITAM, asset lifecycle management, software license compliance, discovery integrations, CMDB alignment, and ITAM governance.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design scalable solutions that improve asset visibility, optimize costs, ensure compliance, and streamline IT asset management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of ServiceNow ITAM solutions, including HAM Pro and SAM Pro.

- Define and implement hardware and software asset lifecycle management strategies.

- Design and establish IT asset management processes, workflows, policies, and governance frameworks.

- Lead software asset management, including software license compliance, entitlement management, reclamation, and optimization.

- Design hardware asset management processes covering procurement, receiving, deployment, maintenance, stock management, and disposal.

- Define and manage integrations with ServiceNow Discovery, third-party discovery tools, and other IT systems.

- Ensure effective CMDB alignment, data accuracy, normalization, and reconciliation.

- Develop ITAM architecture standards, solution designs, technical documentation, and implementation roadmaps.

- Collaborate with IT, procurement, finance, infrastructure, security, and application teams to understand business requirements.

- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development, implementation, and support teams.

- Ensure ITAM solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, scalability, security, and performance standards.

Required Technical Skills:

- Strong experience with ServiceNow platform architecture and implementation.

- Hands-on expertise in ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro).

- Strong expertise in ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM Pro).

- Knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and asset lifecycle management.

- Experience with software license management, compliance, reconciliation, and optimization.

- Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, configuration items, data models, and relationships.

- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and third-party discovery integrations.

- Knowledge of ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, APIs, and platform capabilities.

- Experience in ITAM governance, process design, and enterprise-level solution architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Hardware Asset Management.

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Software Asset Management.

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

- Experience implementing ITAM solutions in large enterprise environments.

- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT service management processes.

- Experience with SAM optimization tools and software publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, and Adobe.
