Role: Solution Architect SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

Role & Responsibilities:

The Solution Architect SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud will be responsible for defining, governing, and delivering end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. The role requires strong expertise in Finance-led transformations, cross-functional SAP integration, localization requirements, and global SAP Public Cloud implementations. The incumbent will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, technical teams, and program leadership to ensure successful SAP transformation initiatives.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Solution Architecture & Strategy:

- Define the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solution architecture aligned with enterprise business objectives.

- Develop architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks for SAP transformation programs.

- Drive fit-to-standard adoption while minimizing customizations.

- Evaluate solution trade-offs considering scalability, maintainability, compliance, and business value.

SAP Finance Transformation:

- Lead Finance-led SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives.

- Design integrated finance processes aligned with SAP best practices.

- Ensure seamless integration between Finance and other SAP functional modules.

- Guide business process harmonization and standardization across global operations.

Cross-functional Integration:

- Drive integration across Finance, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other SAP modules.

- Ensure end-to-end process consistency and data integrity across business functions.

- Resolve cross-functional design challenges and integration dependencies.

- Collaborate with functional stream leads to deliver cohesive business solutions.

Global Rollouts & Localization:

- Lead global SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation programs.

- Define localization strategies for multi-country deployments.

- Ensure compliance with country-specific legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.

- Support template rollout and governance across international business units.

Architecture Governance:

- Conduct fit-to-standard workshops with business stakeholders.

- Review and approve solution designs, architecture decisions, and functional specifications.

- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and enterprise architecture standards.

- Manage solution risks, technical dependencies, and governance approvals.

Leadership & Collaboration:

- Act as the primary Solution Architect across SAP transformation programs.

- Collaborate with business leaders, program managers, functional consultants, technical teams, and external implementation partners.

- Mentor SAP functional consultants and solution teams.

- Support executive presentations, steering committee meetings, solution estimations, and strategic planning.

Mandatory Skills:

- 6-11 years of experience in SAP implementation and solution architecture.

- Multi-year experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.

- Proven experience as a Solution Architect on large-scale SAP transformation programs.

- Strong expertise in SAP Finance (FI) and integrated business processes.

- Experience with multi-country deployments and localization requirements.

- Hands-on experience conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops and solution governance.

- Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Hybrid Agile delivery models.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC).

- Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

- Experience with SAP Integration Suite and API-based integrations.

- SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud certification.

- Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, or Global Enterprise transformation programs.

- Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and cloud reporting solutions.
