Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and client-facing Functional Solution Architect with 8-12 years of experience to work across cross-functional teams in delivering scalable and tailored enterprise solutions.

This role demands a strategic thinker with strong expertise in solution architecture, product management, and business analysis, along with a solid understanding of financial services, hedge funds, and equity markets.

The ideal candidate will act as a forward-deployed solution architect, engaging directly with clients to gather requirements, write problem statements, and drive solutioning discussions to closure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage directly with clients as a front-facing solution architect, understanding their business needs and translating them into technical and functional solutions

- Lead requirements gathering, stakeholder workshops, and write detailed problem statements, solution blueprints, and functional specs

- Collaborate with product, engineering, and implementation teams to ensure solution alignment and delivery feasibility

- Drive product roadmaps and solutioning strategies tailored to client needs across generic domains in finance, hedge funds, and equities

- Analyze business processes and suggest improvements and customizations as needed

- Maintain client satisfaction through strong delivery governance and communication

- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams

Technical & Functional Skills Required:

- Proven experience in Solution Architecture, Product Management, and Business Analysis

- Deep understanding of financial services, hedge funds, equity markets, and trading workflows

- Strong documentation and presentation skills: ability to articulate problem statements and architectural solutions clearly

- Experience working in a forward-deployed / client-facing architect capacity

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple stakeholders

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience working in capital markets, asset management, or investment banking

- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and agile methodologies

- Exposure to data analytics, reporting tools, or cloud-based financial platforms is a plus

- Ability to translate complex business problems into technology-led solutions
