We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect - Finance & ESG to design and manage technology solutions that support finance operations and sustainability (ESG) reporting.
This role will work closely with Finance, Sustainability, Data, and IT teams to design scalable and secure solutions, ensure seamless integration across systems, and support finance and ESG initiatives. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements with technology architecture, ensuring reliable applications, strong data integration, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture & Strategy
- Define and maintain the target architecture for Finance and ESG applications.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, integration standards, and security policies.
- Translate finance and sustainability business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Align application design with enterprise architecture frameworks.
2. Technical Application Ownership
- Take technical ownership of key Finance and ESG applications after deployment.
- Manage application lifecycle including upgrades, performance optimization, and system stability.
- Ensure integrations and data pipelines operate reliably and meet compliance requirements.
- Support business teams with continuous improvement and system enhancements.
3. Project Architecture Leadership
- Act as the Lead Architect for Finance and ESG technology initiatives.
- Review and guide solution designs, data models, and system integrations.
- Work with project managers to identify technical risks and dependencies.
- Provide architectural guidance to vendors, implementation partners, and internal teams.
4. ESG Integration
- Design ESG reporting capabilities within - OneStream and related platforms.
- Support development of ESG data models aligned with - Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and other frameworks.
- Ensure ESG data integrates effectively with financial consolidation, planning, and reporting systems.
5. Data & System Integration
- Define Finance and ESG data models, data lineage, and integration frameworks.
- Ensure integrations follow enterprise standards such as APIs, ETL/ELT, and event-driven architectures.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to maintain high-quality, trusted data across systems.
