Role Overview:

As a Solution Architect, you will serve as the technical cornerstone for our cloud-native initiatives, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and scalable technical implementations. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product managers, and key stakeholders to design, deploy, and optimize high-performance cloud architectures. Your day-to-day involves architecting robust solutions that drive digital transformation, ensuring that our infrastructure remains resilient, cost-effective, and secure. By translating strategic business goals into technical roadmaps, you will directly influence the scalability of our platforms and the overall experience of our end users across major metropolitan markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement end-to-end cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP to ensure high availability and performance for enterprise-grade applications.

- Orchestrate the migration and modernization of legacy systems into containerized environments to improve deployment velocity and system reliability.

- Develop serverless architectures and microservices using Java, Python, or Node.js to optimize resource utilization and reduce operational overhead for internal stakeholders.

- Establish comprehensive IAM policies and security frameworks to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance across all cloud environments.

- Collaborate with engineering squads to refine database schemas and SQL performance, ensuring data integrity and efficient retrieval for business-critical reporting.

- Mentor junior developers and lead technical discussions to foster a culture of architectural excellence and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in architecting and managing cloud environments across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with a deep understanding of compute services like EC2, VMs, and container orchestration.

- Proven ability to design storage strategies using S3 or Blob storage, ensuring optimal data lifecycle management and cost efficiency.

- Strong proficiency in backend development using Java, Python, or Node.js, combined with the ability to write complex SQL queries for data-intensive applications.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at the leadership level.

- A minimum of 4 to 9 years of hands-on experience in software architecture and cloud engineering, ideally supported by a degree in Computer Science or a related field from a premier institute.

- High adaptability to hybrid work environments, maintaining productivity and collaboration while working with distributed teams across metropolitan hubs.
