
Role Summary:
We are seeking a visionary Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex solutions. The Solution Architect is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and business-aligned technology solutions that address complex customer and organizational requirements. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, functional teams, engineering, and delivery teams, translating business needs into practical solution architectures.
The Solution Architect will contribute across the solution lifecycle, including requirements discovery, architecture definition, technology selection, integration design, solution governance, and implementation oversight. The role requires a broad understanding of enterprise applications, cloud technologies, APIs, integration patterns, data architecture, security, and modern software delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design:
- Understand business objectives, functional requirements, technical constraints, and existing technology landscapes.
- Design end-to-end solution architectures covering applications, integrations, data, security, infrastructure, and user experience.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Define architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, integration flows, data models, and technical specifications.
- Evaluate alternative solution approaches and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns.
- Ensure solutions are designed with scalability, performance, maintainability, availability, and security in mind.
- Identify technical dependencies, constraints, risks, and assumptions during the solution design process.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Sales & Service Clouds.
Technical Leadership:
- Guide development teams across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and provide mentorship and quality assurance.
- Review code and configurations to ensure architectural integrity.
- Ensure implemented solutions remain aligned with business requirements and architectural objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and present architectural options.
- Conduct discovery workshops with business, functional, and technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical input during proposal development, solution estimation, project planning, and pre-sales activities where required.
- Translate business goals into actionable technical solutions.
Innovation & Strategy:
- Stay ahead with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and industry trends.
- Recommend innovative tools and platforms that align with business goals.
Documentation & Governance:
- Create technical documents including data flow diagrams, architecture documents, and security models.
- Establish architectural governance practices for the Salesforce platform.
Integration & Data Architecture:
- Design integrations between enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, web services, and other integration patterns.
- Design data flows and data exchange mechanisms across multiple systems.
- Support data migration, data synchronization, master data management, and data quality strategies.
- Ensure solutions maintain appropriate data ownership, governance, consistency, and security.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of enterprise solution architecture and application design principles.
- Ability to design end-to-end solutions across multiple applications and technology platforms.
- Good understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, integration patterns, middleware, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong knowledge of relational data models, application data flows, and data integration concepts.
- Understanding of cloud computing, SaaS applications, microservices, and modern application architectures.
- Ability to produce architecture diagrams, process flows, integration designs, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to evaluate technical options and clearly articulate architectural trade-offs.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, workshop facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior business stakeholders as well as development and engineering teams.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce architecture and core CRM capabilities.
- Familiarity with Salesforce integration APIs and platform considerations.
- Good understanding of AI tools and technologies, with the ability to leverage them to improve efficiency, productivity, and solution delivery across various phases of the project lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Certified B2B Solution Architect a strong advantage.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Experience working with global teams across time zones.
