Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced sales manager for Gujarat state to drive revenue growth across B2G, and B2B2G segments. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, a proven track record in government sales cycle management, and the ability to lead high-performing teams. This role is crucial in shaping revenue growth, & optimizing sales performance. Pls note thats its a business development role, not key account management.

Roles & Responsibilities:


Revenue Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive customer acquisition and success strategy to acquire B2G and B2B2G clients.

- Take complete ownership of revenue target of the region, driving both individual and team targets, ensuring accountability in achieving desired results.

- Implement a strategic approach to nurture relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and converting them into strategic key accounts.

- Conducting detailed market research and analysis to identify and explore customer needs, trends and untapped business avenues and industries in the region contributing to expansion efforts and on new opportunities for growth.

Requirements:


At the heart of it, its a relationship driven role. If you are someone, who is adept at managing large clients, building relationships with bureaucrats/engineers and understanding extended conversion cycles, this role is for you.

- 8+ years of relevant experience in business development (sales), with at least 4-6 years of experience in directly converting clients.

- Prior sales experience with B2G customers is a prerequisite, including expertise in the entire tender process, from drafting and attending pre-bid meetings to submission.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Optional requirements:

- Prior experience in the water sector will be a plus but not mandatory.

- Prior sales experience with tech-enabled hardware and software products will be a plus but not mandatory.

- MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is an addition, but not mandatory.
