
About the Role:
This is not a reporting role. You will sit at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and business finance, working directly with senior leadership to solve the most important problems the business faces.
At Solar Square, every growth lever, a new channel, a pricing change, a city expansion, creates a downstream ripple through sales velocity, unit economics, and cash flow. Your job is to monitor the change before it happens, measure it after, and play communication sport with leadership on what to do about it.
What You'll Do
AOP & Financial Planning
- Actively contribute to the Annual Operating Plan; model revenue scenarios, cost structures, and investment trade-offs
- Build scenario analyses on key business decisions: new city entry, channel mix shifts, pricing changes
- Partner with business owners to align operational plans with financial targets
Sales & Funnel Analytics:
- Own funnel conversion reporting across stages; identify structural drop-offs vs. execution noise
- Diagnose sales productivity trends; surface channel-wise and geography-wise patterns for sales leadership
- Track CAC across all acquisition channels; identify cost drivers and flag deviations early
Operations & Supply Chain Analytics
- Review, track and build MOP at city / state level installations
- Manpower planning and efficiency tracking across job roles, identify levers and optimsie cost here
- Track end to end supply chain cost - Procurment, Warehousing and logistics - first mile, mid mile and last mile.
Strategic Problem Solving:
- Take on open-ended problem statements: market sizing, new channel evaluation, operational efficiency, cost reduction
- Structure ambiguous questions into clear analytical frameworks; drive from diagnosis to recommendation
- Build the financial and operational case for cross-functional initiatives; track impact post-implementation
Business Finance & Performance Reporting
- Build and own city-level and channel-level P&L views; publish daily, weekly, and monthly MIS to business and senior leadership
- Track actual performance vs. targets across sales, margins, and costs; cut by product, region, channel, and cohort
- Prepare board-ready financial summaries and ad hoc analyses for fundraising or quarterly reviews
