About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Sales to lead and scale our sales operations. This role requires a strong leader with deep market understanding, excellent client management capabilities, and the ability to drive revenue growth in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the leadership team to build strong sales strategies, expand customer relationships, and ensure the organization consistently achieves its revenue targets. This role also involves managing high-value accounts, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening the companys position in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Strategy:

- Lead the overall sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Account Executives and Sales Managers.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term growth strategies and revenue plans.

Business Development:

- Drive new business development and identify opportunities to expand into new markets and customer segments.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.

- Explore new revenue streams aligned with the companys growth strategy.

Account Management:

- Maximize revenue opportunities from assigned accounts and ensure strong customer retention.

- Clearly communicate account strategies internally and align cross-functional teams to support customer needs.

- Act as the escalation point for major client issues and ensure timely resolution.

Pipeline & Revenue Management:

- Manage and track the sales pipeline through CRM and internal pipeline management tools.

- Lead pricing discussions and coordinate proposal development with internal stakeholders to deliver competitive bids.

- Ensure all customer contracts are updated and proactively manage renewals for key accounts.

Customer Experience & Insights:

- Review customer activity and anticipate evolving customer needs.

- Continuously improve customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and solution-driven discussions.

Performance Reporting:

- Develop and present sales reports, performance insights, and growth opportunities to leadership.

- Support the annual sales target-setting process and ensure alignment across teams.

Requirements:

- 10 to 15 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Strategic Account Management.

- Strong track record of driving revenue growth and managing enterprise accounts.

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.

- Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing sales teams.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- MBA preferred from Tier 1 institutes (such as Indian Institutes of Management, Indian School of Business).
