The Role
As a Group Product Manager Operations, you will own a portfolio of products and business problems that sit at the core of SolarSquares execution engine.
This is a senior, hands-on role with direct accountability for outcomes across one of the companys largest and most complex domains.
The role requires operating close to real-world constraints while maintaining clarity across multiple products and teams.
Product decisions here directly affect execution predictability, turnaround times, cost efficiency, and the on-ground experience of teams and customers.
Success depends on strong judgment, the ability to close trade-offs, and the discipline to turn messy operational realities into scalable systems as the business grows.
Scope & Ownership
- Own a portfolio of ops-facing products and business problem areas (for e. order management system, field-force apps, and supply chain), with accountability for business outcomes.
- Identify and address recurring inefficiencies, rework, and escalations through better system and product design.
- Set priorities across product areas, ensuring focus on the highest-leverage problems.
- Drive end-to-end problem solving - from framing and discovery through execution, post-launch iteration, and automation.
- Coach PMs, raising the bar on problem framing, solution quality, and decision-making.
- Partner with business & engineering teams to balance near-term delivery with foundational improvements required for scale.
What Success Requires
- 8 - 10+ years of product management experience, ideally in ops-heavy domains such as logistics, supply chain, installations, field services, manufacturing, energy, or similar.
- Strong product judgment with the ability to reason across complex, interdependent systems.
- Proven experience owning business outcomes, beyond feature delivery, in execution-heavy environments.
- Willingness to engage deeply with on-ground teams and a strong understanding of operational constraints.
- Comfort making decisions with imperfect data, and using data rigorously to inform prioritization and trade-offs.
- Ability to operate at multiple altitudes - hands-on problem solving, as well as shaping priorities across a product portfolio.
- Demonstrated capability to lead, coach, and hold a high bar for PMs and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior business and engineering leaders through clarity and credibility
