Role Overview:

We are looking for a Business Finance Analyst to partner across core functions-Operations, Marketing, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), Growth, and Supply Chain-to drive performance insights, optimize spends, and enable data-backed decision-making. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in fast-paced D2C, Manufacturing, or FMCG environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cross-Functional Finance Partnering

- Work closely with Operations, Marketing, Growth, Supply Chain, and AMC teams to analyze business performance, forecast financial outcomes, and track KPIs.

- Act as the financial voice in functional decision-making.

- Data-Driven Insights & Reporting

- Develop dashboards and regular reports using Power BI, SQL, and Excel to monitor business metrics, trends, and key performance indicators.

- Deep-dive into financial and operational data to generate actionable insights.

- Budgeting, Forecasting & Variance Analysis

- Support the annual planning process and monthly forecasting for different business verticals.

- Analyze spend effectiveness, ROI (especially for marketing), and budget adherence.

- Cost Optimization & Profitability Tracking

- Track cost trends across functions and recommend opportunities for savings.

- Perform unit economics analysis across channels, products, and geographies.

- Strategic Projects & Business Cases

- Collaborate on business initiatives like new product launches, pricing strategies, vendor optimization, and AMC program analytics.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Education: B.Com, B.Tech, or MBA with a strong academic record and analytical rigor.

- Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in fast-growing startups, D2C, Manufacturing, or FMCG sectors.

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in Power BI, SQL, and Advanced Excel.

- Exposure to financial modeling, data visualization, and automation of reporting processes.

Soft Skills:

- Strong business acumen and problem-solving mindset.

- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.

- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
