Role Overview:
The Associate Vice President - Sales will lead and manage the sales operations for Solar Square in Jaipur, driving revenue growth and market share within the region. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. The AVP-Sales will report to the National Sales Head and will be responsible for the P&L of the Jaipur region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Jaipur region to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Build, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure individual and team success.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, key accounts, and emerging market segments, to expand Solar Square's customer base.
- Manage the P&L for the Jaipur region, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in sales strategies and product offerings.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers to enhance Solar Square's reputation and market position.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures in sales operations.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Proven track record of building, managing, and motivating high-performing sales teams to achieve ambitious targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills to understand market dynamics, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Deep understanding of the solar energy industry, including market trends, technologies, and regulatory landscape.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
