Role Overview:
We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Associate Director Sales to lead the Pune market. This role requires a seasoned sales leader who can drive GTM strategy, build and mentor high-performing teams, and take complete ownership of revenue growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy through market research, customer segmentation, case studies, and competition analysis.
- Lead, manage, and inspire a team of Solar Consultants by setting clear, measurable sales goals and performance metrics.
- Own the complete sales funnel and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets for the region.
- Coach, mentor, and work closely with the sales team to improve sales processes and conversion efficiency.
- Build a strong performance-driven culture with high customer focus and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to develop short-term and long-term business growth strategies.
- Conduct in-depth market research to assess market potential, track competitor activities, and refine expansion strategies.
- Drive innovation by identifying, experimenting, and executing new ideas for market penetration and growth.
- Ensure autonomy in decision-making while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and standards.
- Track and analyze sales metrics, reporting insights and forecasts to leadership.
Key Requirements:
- 10 to 15 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in B2C, consumer durables, real estate, home improvement, energy, or solar sectors.
- Proven track record of managing and scaling high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of high-ticket B2C sales cycles and process-driven selling.
- Demonstrated experience in GTM planning, market expansion, and revenue ownership.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities.
- MBA preferred from a reputed institute.
