Role Overview

- We are looking for a highly analytical and structured Associate Director - COE to drive cross-functional programs, build scalable processes, and institutionalize operational excellence across the organization.

- This role is ideal for someone from a Tier 1 engineering/tech background (IITs, NITs, BITS, top Bangalore-based tech institutions) who has experience in program management, business operations, or process excellence roles within high-growth startups.

- You will work closely with business leaders, founders, and functional heads to solve complex problems, improve efficiency, and drive measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Program Management

- Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition to execution.

- Define scope, timelines, milestones, and measurable success metrics.

- Ensure stakeholder alignment across Sales, Ops, Tech, and Support functions.

- Drive closure and accountability across teams.

2. Process Excellence & Optimization

- Identify process gaps and inefficiencies across functions.

- Design and implement scalable SOPs and governance frameworks.

- Standardize workflows across cities and business verticals.

- Drive automation and system improvements in collaboration with Tech.

3. Data & Analytics-Led Decision Making

- Build dashboards and tracking frameworks for leadership.

- Use data to diagnose operational bottlenecks and performance trends.

- Translate insights into actionable business recommendations.

- Establish metric discipline and reporting cadence across teams.

4. Stakeholder Management

- Partner with senior business leaders to understand priorities.

- Act as a bridge between strategy and execution teams.

- Influence without authority and drive alignment in ambiguous situations.

- Present structured updates to leadership and founders.

5. Governance & Review Mechanisms

- Institutionalize weekly/monthly review cadences.

- Ensure data integrity and performance visibility.

- Create accountability frameworks across teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

3-6 years of experience in:

- Program Management / Business Operations / Chief of Staff roles

- Process Excellence / Consulting / Strategy roles

- High-growth startups preferred

- Strong analytical mindset with comfort working on large datasets.

- Tier 1 engineering/tech background preferred.

- Excellent problem-structuring and hypothesis-driven thinking.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

- Strong ownership mindset with bias for action.

- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
