Overview:
This is a global leadership role, managing software delivery and support teams across India and the U.S.
The leader is responsible for end-to-end client delivery, including production support, automation, and ensuring smooth management of multiple client accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery Leadership:
- Lead and manage a large, diverse team (delivery managers, tech leads, developers, analysts, testers, etc.).
- Take ownership of end-to-end delivery for global clients across multiple projects.
- Build a high-performance culture by providing mentorship, conducting performance reviews, and supporting team growth.
2. Automation & Innovation:
- Encourage a culture of automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Continuously improve systems, workflows, and processes to optimize delivery.
- Ensure operations are lean, scalable, and future-ready.
3. Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations, resolve escalations, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and challenges clearly to business leaders and clients.
4. Project Management:
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of software projects and ongoing change requests.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per agreed scope.
- Conduct regular status meetings with teams and clients to track progress.
5. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure high quality standards for all deliverables.
- Implement and maintain best practices in software development and project management.
- Regularly review and audit project deliverables to meet compliance and client requirements.
6. Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop contingency plans for potential issues.
- Proactively monitor risks and implement corrective measures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
- MBA is preferred.
- Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are an added advantage.
Experience:
- 10+ years in software delivery management with strong leadership experience.
- Must have handled large teams (100+ people).
- Healthcare domain experience is essential.
- Proven success in managing large-scale, global projects.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
Familiarity with software development tools and technologies.
Understanding of software architecture and design principles.
