Description:
We are seeking a security-focused Pre-Sales Consultant to support strategic engagements with a large private sector bank.
This is a highly consultative, client-facing role requiring deep expertise in banking security, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
The consultant will work closely with CISO, IT Security, Risk, Compliance, and Architecture teams to shape security-led solutions aligned to regulatory mandates such as RBI CSF, CERT-In directives, audits, and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Pre-Sales & Solution Consulting:
- Lead security solution discovery workshops with banking stakeholders across IT, Security, Risk, Compliance, and Architecture
- Understand client security posture, pain points, regulatory gaps, and business drivers
- Shape end-to-end security-led solutions aligned to banking risk and compliance requirements
- Act as a trusted advisor to CISO and senior security leadership
Regulatory, Risk & Compliance Engagement:
- Engage on CERT-In advisories, RBI Cyber Security Framework (CSF), and regulatory security initiatives
- Support responses to regulatory audits, internal audits, and compliance assessments
- Map security solutions to regulatory controls, policies, and audit requirements
- Provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies and security governance models
Banking Security Architecture & Strategy:
- Collaborate with enterprise and security architects to design secure, compliant architectures
- Align proposed solutions with banking security standards and best practices
- Contribute to security roadmaps, target-state architectures, and transformation programs
Pre-Sales Execution & Bid Support:
- Support RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and solution presentations
- Create solution artefacts such as security architecture diagrams, compliance mappings, and value propositions
- Present solutions confidently to senior stakeholders, including CISO, CIO, and Risk Heads
- Partner with sales teams to drive deal strategy and closure
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
- Engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment
- Facilitate workshops and executive discussions to drive consensus
- Act as a bridge between business, security, and technology teams
