What You'll Do:
Strategy and planning:

- Translate brand and business objectives into platform-specific plans across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Develop content pillars, tone-of-voice guidelines, and monthly content roadmaps.
- Lead monthly and quarterly planning cycles with clients and internal teams.
- Bring cultural, competitive, and platform insights to every planning session.
- Track performance across accounts, identify what's working, and rework what isn't.
Team leadership and structure:
- Hire, train, and mentor a team of social media executives.
- Build the systems, SOPs, and workflows that let the team ship consistently at scale.
- Set up planning rhythms, review processes, and quality checkpoints.
- Review and approve content before it goes live, and coach the team through feedback.
- Own the health of the pipeline: brief clarity, timelines, approvals, and posting cadence.
- Grow executives into strategists over time.
New business and pitches:
- Partner with founders and business leads on new client pitches.
- Build the social strategy sections of pitch decks audit, opportunity, approach, and roadmap.
- Present social thinking confidently in pitch rooms and pre-pitch conversations.
- Shape scopes of work, deliverables, and team structures for incoming accounts.
- Turn early client conversations into sharp, differentiated points of view.
- Help translate a win into a smooth onboarding for the delivery team.
What We're Looking For:
- 2 - 3 years of experience in social media strategy, ideally in an agency setup managing multiple brands at once.
- Prior experience training, mentoring, or leading junior team members even informally.
- Experience contributing to pitch decks and new business conversations.
- A strong portfolio of brand social work you can walk us through the thinking, not just the output.
- Deep working knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X, and a genuine curiosity about newer platforms.
- Comfort with analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, native platform insights, and any third-party tools you've used).
- Sharp writing and presentation skills you can build a deck and defend it in a room.
- Confidence in front of clients and prospects, whether it's a review call or a pitch.
- Strong grasp of brand building, content strategy, and community growth as connected disciplines.
- An instinct for structure you naturally build systems, checklists, and processes that make teams faster.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with the speed reactive content demands.
- Comfort working across categories B2B, consumer, lifestyle, sports, wellness, and more.
