Role Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Workday Financial Consultant to join our growing team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading and executing end-to-end implementations of Workday Financials, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- This position requires hands-on expertise in financial modules, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation & Configuration:
- Lead and participate in full-cycle implementations of Workday Financials - from requirements gathering to design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Module Expertise:
Configure, implement, and support key Workday Financial modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)

Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash Management
- Expenses and Financial Reporting
- Procurement and Project Accounting (as applicable)
Client Collaboration:
- Partner with clients to analyze business needs, identify process gaps, and design scalable, compliant financial solutions using Workday's capabilities.
Integration Development:
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and maintain integrations between Workday Financials and other enterprise systems (ERP, payroll, HR, etc.).
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct functional and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet client expectations and quality standards.
Post-Implementation Support:
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization of Workday Financials to ensure seamless operation and continuous improvement.
Documentation & Training:
- Develop process documentation, functional specifications, and conduct knowledge transfer or user training sessions.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials, in either implementation or support roles.
- Proven expertise in configuring and managing modules such as GL, AP, AR, and Financial Reporting.
- Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and enterprise financial processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Immediate joiners preferred (this role requires onsite work from Bangalore).
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience in additional Workday modules like Procurement, Project Accounting, or Expense Management.
- Workday certification in Financials or related modules.
- Familiarity with integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, or Core Connectors.
- Exposure to ERP Financial Systems or cloud-based finance transformations.
