Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end GST compliance, including filing returns, reconciliations, and assessments.
- Manage Income Tax matters, such as ITR filings, tax planning, and scrutiny assessments.
- Draft replies, appeals, and representations for departmental notices and proceedings.
- Attend hearings and interactions with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
- Provide advisory support on taxation queries and ensure compliance with evolving tax laws.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification; candidates with substantial relevant experience in taxation will also be considered.
- Proven hands-on experience in GST and Income Tax domains, including drafting and departmental interactions.
- Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, rules, and recent amendments.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office tools.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a client-facing role.
