Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager (TPM) to lead technology-driven initiatives across the Finance within our Lending Platform, which spans the Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS) and accounting platform. This role focuses on financial system integrity, reconciliation accuracy, accounting automation, merchant settlement, and post-disbursement process control. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of Financial operations including repayment, cancellation, partial cancellation, settlements, and GL synchronization ensuring all financial events are accurately captured and compliant with audit and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Program Leadership & Delivery - Lead large-scale Finance programs spanning merchant settlements, disbursements, collections, cancellations, reconciliation, and reporting automation. - Define clear milestones for Financial transformation initiatives across LOSLMSERP systems. - Drive end-to-end lifecycle: initiation planning execution rollout stabilization. - Set up structured governance, covering dependency management, risk tracking, and change control. 2. Cross-Functional Execution - Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Finance, Risk, and Accounting teams to streamline transaction and accounting flows. - Ensure accurate reflection of financial events (disbursement, cancellation, refunds, settlements, reversals) in LMS and downstream accounting systems. - Work with data and integration teams to automate GL postings and reconciliation between LMS, Accounting, and collections systems. - Track multiple interdependent programs merchant settlement automation, cancellation flows, bureau reporting, accounting sync, and reconciliation accuracy. 3. Technical & Financial System Alignment - Partner with architects and finance system owners to design accounting rules engines that handle complex loan events such as: Full & Partial Cancellations Refunds, Chargebacks, and Reversals Adjustments and write-offs - Ensure consistent debit/credit accounting entries across LOS, LMS, and ERP. - Oversee system integration for automated posting, GL mapping, and accounting control reports. - Ensure compliance with RBI Digital Lending Guidelines, data privacy, and audit requirements. 4. Metrics, Reporting & Governance - Define and track FinOps KPIs: reconciliation accuracy, accounting entry success rate, cancellation turnaround time, and automation coverage. - Maintain a centralized FinOps program dashboard for leadership visibility. - Lead post-implementation reviews, RCA, and continuous improvement exercises to minimize financial mismatches. - Institutionalize accounting control checks for every critical transaction stage disbursement, repayment, cancellation, and settlements. 5. People & Process Excellence - Mentor FinOps and Tech PMs on process discipline, automation, and data accuracy. - Promote Agile delivery practices across FinanceTech workstreams. - Build repeatable frameworks for cancellation workflows, accounting entry validation, and reconciliation automation. - Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement. Required Skills & Experience: - 7+ years of experience with 3+ years managing technical FinOps or lending transformation programs. - Deep understanding of lending lifecycle and FinOps events - Experience with LMS / LOS platforms, reconciliation engines, and accounting automation. - Hands-on program management of microservices, event-driven financial systems, and data integrations. - Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Background in software engineering or financial systems architecture. - Experience managing programs related to co-lending, accounting reconciliation, refund/cancellation automation, or regulatory financial reporting. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): - Accuracy of accounting entries for cancellations, settlements, and disbursements. - Reduction in manual journal entries and reconciliation breaks. - LOSLMSGL data consistency and error-free posting rate. - Timely delivery of FinOps automation projects. - Audit readiness and control compliance metrics. - Improved turnaround for refund/cancellation processing.
