Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager (TPM) to lead technology-driven initiatives across Finance within our Lending Platform, which spans the Collections platform, Loan Management System (LMS), Billing System, Co-lending system, Credit on UPI transaction management system and Accounting platform.
This role focuses on 100% automation of financial system integrity, reconciliation accuracy, accounting automation, merchant settlement, and post-disbursement process control.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Delivery:
- Lead large-scale Finance programs spanning merchant settlements, refunds, disbursements (personal loans, EMIs), collections, bank reconciliation, and reporting automation.
- Define clear milestones for Financial transformation initiatives across LOSLMSERP systems.
- Drive end-to-end lifecycle: initiation planning execution rollout stabilization.
- Set up structured governance, covering dependency management, risk tracking, and change control.
Cross-Functional Execution:
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Finance, Risk, and Accounting teams to streamline transaction and accounting flows.
- Ensure accurate reflection of financial events (disbursement, cancellation, refunds, settlements, reversals) in LMS and downstream accounting systems.
Technical & Financial System Alignment:
- Partner with architects and finance system owners to design accounting rules engines that handle complex loan events such as Full & Partial Cancellations, Refunds, Chargebacks, and Reversals Adjustments and writeoffs.
- Ensure consistent debit/credit accounting entries across LOS, LMS, and ERP.
- Ensure compliance with RBI Digital Lending Guidelines, data privacy, and audit requirement.
Metrics, Reporting & Governance:
- Define and track FinOps KPIs: reconciliation accuracy, accounting entry success rate, cancellation turnaround time, and automation coverage.
- Maintain a centralized FinOps program dashboard for leadership visibility.
- Lead post-implementation reviews, RCA, and continuous improvement exercises to minimize financial mismatches.
- Institutionalize accounting control checks for every critical transaction stage disbursement, repayment, cancellation, and settlement.
People & Process Excellence:
- Mentor FinOps and Tech PMs on process discipline, automation, and data accuracy.
- Promote Agile delivery practices across FinanceTech workstreams.
- Build repeatable frameworks for cancellation workflows, accounting entry validation, and reconciliation automation.
- Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience with 3+ years managing technical FinOps OR digital lending OR credit products OR enterprise scale ERP implementation.
- Working experience on LMS-LOS-ERP systems and understanding of digital lending guidelines.
- Hands-on program management of microservices, event-driven financial systems, and data integrations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in Technology consulting or Financial systems/FinTech.
- Masters degree from Tier 1 institutes (IIM A/ B/ C/ ISB) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
