Role Overview:
As Senior Manager / Associate Director Growth & Retention, you will own the full lifecycle P&Lfrom activation to repeat behaviour to reactivationand lead a multidisciplinary team of 1215 across analytics, CRM, campaign operations, personalisation, and rewards.
This is a function-head role.
You will set strategy, manage a significant incentive budget, and represent Growth & Retention in leadership forums.
Responsibilities:
- Full Lifecycle P&L: CLTV, contribution margin, incentive budget allocation, and ROAS across all customer segments and product lines.
- Activation: Turn new users (especially checkout-origin) into first-time transactors on Snapmint; drive app adoption and reduce time-to-first-purchase.
- Deepening Engagement: Build the repeat flywheelcross-sell across marketplace, vouchers, personal loans, and recharges; increase multi-product adoption.
- Retention & Reactivation: Prolong active lifespan, predict and reduce churn, run win-back campaigns with documented payback periods.
- Rewards & Loyalty: Oversee the rewards programme as an integrated lifecycle levermerchant partnerships, unit economics, and programme ROI.
- Team & Organisational Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team; set quarterly priorities; be the executive stakeholder for the CRM/engagement tech stack.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience, with 4+ years in lifecycle/CRM/growth at a consumer internet or fintech company.
- 3+ years of people management - youve led and developed teams during high-growth phases.
- Proven P&L ownership- youve been accountable for a lifecycle or retention budget and its economic outcomes, not just engagement metrics.
- Strong analytical foundation: SQL, Python, CLTV/RFM modelling, A/B testing, and cohort economics.
- Hands-on familiarity with CRM platforms (CleverTap, MoEngage, or similar) and multi-channel campaign design (push, WhatsApp, SMS, email, IVR).
- Exposure to rewards or loyalty programme mechanics is a strong plus.
