Business Development Manager - Investments & Broking

Key Responsibilities:


- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the investments and broking sector.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNI), institutional clients, and corporate partners.

- Promote and sell investment products such as equities, mutual funds, bonds, derivatives, and other brokerage services.

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.

- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.

- Coordinate with internal teams such as research, compliance, operations, and product to deliver seamless client solutions.

- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients.

- Negotiate terms, close deals, and manage the end-to-end sales process.

- Monitor client portfolios and provide insights and recommendations to support investment decisions.

- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the companys presence and market reach.

- Track and report on key performance metrics, sales pipelines, and revenue forecasts.

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

- MBA is a plus.

- 5 to 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management in investments, broking, or financial services.

- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and brokerage services.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating business growth.

- Excellent relationship management and client servicing skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and business opportunities.

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in financial markets.

Preferred Skills:

- Network of contacts in the investment and broking industry.

- Experience with portfolio management and advisory services.

- Knowledge of digital broking platforms and investment tools.

- CFA or relevant financial certifications
