SMFG India Credit - Business Head - TPP Insurance

Role & responsibilities:

- Effectively managing Insurance - Third-Party products (TPP) in an efficient and compliant way.

- Delivery on the Fee Income plan for the year.

- Ensure timely resolution of any customer issues faced on Third Party Products.

- Ensuring timely resolution of claims, thereby contributing to the company P&L. Formulate comprehensive strategies to enhance the penetration of insurance products within our customer base.

- Oversee analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.

- Develop and implement plans to expand the insurance business footprint nationally, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives of the NBFC.

- Establish and nurture partnerships with insurance providers, brokers, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance product offerings and distribution channels.

- Drive revenue growth through effective sales and distribution strategies, focusing on both traditional and digital channels.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing the sale and servicing of insurance products.

- Oversee implementation of robust risk management practices to safeguard the interests of the company and its stakeholders.

- Champion customer-centricity by understanding the evolving needs and preferences of our target audience and delivering solutions that add value.

- Establish mechanisms for gathering feedback and insights from customers to enhance product offerings and service delivery.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Minimum 20 years in Banking - Insurance.

- Relevant 11 - 12 years in BFSI.
