Key Responsibilities:
Analytics & Strategy:
- Develop and implement analytical frameworks to track and enhance recovery rates, cure rates, roll rates, and vintage analysis.
- Design and monitor Early Warning Systems (EWS) and risk segmentation models to pre-empt delinquency.
- Perform portfolio analysis to identify high-risk segments and suggest proactive measures.
- Provide actionable insights through dashboards and MIS reports for senior management.
Modeling & Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain predictive models (scorecards, behavioral models, collection propensity models).
- Forecast delinquency trends and collection efficiency across DPD buckets and products.
- Use machine learning and statistical techniques to improve recovery targeting.
Collection Efficiency & Performance Management:
- Monitor and optimize collection strategy effectiveness across in-house, field, and agency collections.
- Provide data-driven inputs to improve tele-calling, field visit, and legal recovery strategies.
- Track collection KPIs such as Resolution Rates, Recovery Rates, CE (Collection Efficiency), Rollback Rates, etc.
Technology & Automation:
- Lead automation initiatives for data ingestion, reporting, and dashboards using tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau, SAS/R.
- Collaborate with tech and product teams to enhance data pipelines and reporting infrastructure.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with Risk, Credit, Product, Legal, and Operations teams to drive portfolio performance.
- Present regular insights and strategy updates to the senior management and board.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or related quantitative field. MBA preferred.
Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in Portfolio Analytics, preferably in a Bank or NBFC.
- Strong exposure to retail lending products (personal loan, business loan, vehicle finance, etc.)
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in SQL, Python/R, Excel; working knowledge of Power BI/Tableau.
- Experience with statistical modeling, segmentation, and scoring techniques.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Reduction in delinquency and NPA levels.
- Accuracy and impact of predictive models.
