Job Description : At Slicepay, we aim to build a financial platform driven by innovative technology. Data scientists help shape SlicePay's growth & credit strategies by processing, analyzing and interpreting huge data sets. As Lead Data Scientist, you work closely with leadership, analysts and other data scientists to build innovative solutions for business growth. Responsibilities : - Lead a team of data scientists towards building robust models for achieving game changing growth e.g. recommendation engine to increase disbursal, customer retention model based on session data, purchase data etc. - Identify new data types that should be captured and work closely with tech team to capture them - Build a culture of automation and strong monitoring Minimum Qualifications : - 5+ years experience in data science - 2-3 years experience in leading a team preferred - Ecom/Fintech experience preferred - Tier 1 college graduates - Excellent in scripting languages (such as SQL, Python) and common ML techniques (RF, SVM, NLP, graph databases). Working knowledge of neural nets preferred Preferred Qualifications : - Ability to build useful models for driving business growth - Demonstrated leadership and self-direction - Demonstrated willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques
