Brief description of the Org Unit/ position/ role (purpose of position): The Head of Group Communication is responsible for the perception & reputation of the VW Group and its brands Skoda, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche and Lamborghini with all stakeholders. Responsibilities include: - Reputation Management: Responsible for achieving the desired Reputation and image positioning for Skoda Auto Volkswagen through Communications interventions : Media Relations, Stakeholder Relations, Internal Communications, Employee engagements and Digital and Social Media Communications. Analyzing, defining, targeting and monitoring key media, opinion leaders and industry influencers and building a positive impact. - Liaison with the global communications team: Roll-out campaigns, support global content requirements, align India communication strategies with global strategy and vision, and align global team with communications campaigns in India (as required). Organization of Board Member visits and press conferences and preparation of collaterals - Media Monitoring and Competitor Intelligence: Responsible for mapping the overall media and business environment. - Staying current on market trends and competitive activity and owning the development and messaging of the corporate brand narrative. - Regulatory Issues / Crisis Communications : Proactively analyse and prepare SAVW Group's position on sensitive business issues and response to critical regulatory developments impacting the Company's image and business - Spokesperson Preparation - Ensure spokesperson preparation for external communication on relevant Business topics. - Creation of backgrounders and case studies on key issues, corporate information of competitors, speeches and company statements. This includes design and implementation of internal communication plans, supporting the leadership on leader communication, publishing the internal magazine (print /digital) and holding the lead responsibility for managing the intranet - both content and design, planning and implementing internal brand building initiatives and events. - Financial Management -Delivering communication projects within targeted budgets and desired results in compliance with SAVW guidelines. Creative Responsibilities: - Oversee the design of corporate collaterals to ensure a consistent brand externally and internally. Design and Manage Corporate Events, Corporate Citizenship Communication. Ensure adherence to brand guidelines (CI / CD) across campaigns and events. Plan photo shoots, video shoots for communications campaigns or to create brand asset libraries. - Development of language rules, statements, Q + As and briefings - Control and release of press releases, interviews, company texts, press kits, briefings, footage - Participation in relevant bodies such as APS - Responsible for implementation - Media monitoring, media analysis as well as internal and external issues, crisis communication & topic management - Daily media alerts and production of the press review - Controlling the development, roll-out, securing and further development of processes and strategic approaches for Communication - Creating speeches, publications, author contributions, presentations, etc. for the Management Board and Communication Colleagues - Creating strategic positioning concepts (including for the MD and top management, design) - Targeted control of external service providers - Control of communication activities & liaison with International PR Colleagues - Ensure one-voice and clearing function from VW Group India - Ensure the flow of information with relevant stakeholders - Maintaining contacts with media and ICOTY Members - Advice and briefing for the members of the Management Board, for all internal and public measures and channels - Media monitoring, media analysis as well as internal and external issues, crisis communication & topic management - Control of communication activities & liaison with International PR Colleagues - Preparation / execution / follow-up of background discussions, interviews and press conferences in coordination with the GK management - Achieving the best possible tonality in the respective communication channels. - Coordination of corporate statements with the Group and regional stakeholders. - Controlling & leading sponsorship activities related to the brand - Active placement of topics in the media. Conduct background discussions with journalists and actively support interview and media interviews with corporate decision makers - Provision of all necessary communication measures for the Executive Board; coordination of these measures across all brands and stakeholder groups (media, social media channels) - Ensure one-voice and clearing function from VW Group India Reporting Manager : Managing Director Location : Chakan, Pune Diversity Preferred
