Description:

Purpose of the Role:

- The Financial Planning Analyst will be responsible for end-to-end volume and financial planning, forecasting, and consolidation across multiple brands.

- The role involves preparing production and sales volume data at a detailed 6-digit level for Planning Rounds, Budgets, Actuals, Forecasts, and Rolling Forecasts, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting to management and stakeholders.

- This role plays a critical part in management reporting, board presentations, audit support, and strategic pricing projects, including Vietnam Pricing and PPA impact analysis.

Key Responsibilities & KRAs:

Financial Planning & Forecasting:

Prepare and analyze production and sales volumes at a 6-digit level for:

- Planning Rounds (PR)

- Annual Budget

- Actuals

- Forecasts and Rolling Forecasts

- Consolidate financials and volumes across multiple brands for planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.

- Perform contribution margin and operating result analysis per car and per brand for PR, Budget, and Forecasts.

Monthly Reporting & Management Information:

Prepare and support the Monthly Management Booklet, including:

- Volume analysis

- Financial performance insights

- Variance analysis vs Budget and Forecast

Support Board presentation preparation, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial data.

Prepare handbooks for Planning Rounds and Budget covering all brands.

Data Reconciliation & Controls:

Perform monthly reconciliation of volumes between:

- SAP systems

- Logistics and operational data

Conduct interest reconciliation and raise debit/credit notes to Accounting on a monthly basis.

Ensure timely and accurate upload of volume data into systems such as Zeus and Vokus during Planning Rounds and Budget cycles.

Perform IFRS and IGAAP audit support related to volume reporting.

Pricing, Projects & Analysis:

Support special strategic projects, including:

- Vietnam Pricing analysis

- PPA (Purchase Price Adjustment) impact analysis

Assist in pricing and profitability assessments to support business decisions.

Compliance, Audit & External Reporting:

- Support IFRS and IGAAP audits related to volume and financial reporting.

- Prepare and manage statutory and industry reporting, including SIAM-related reports.

- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and reporting timelines.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Technical & Functional Skills:

Strong understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts.

Experience in:

- Budgeting

- Forecasting

- Rolling Forecasts

- Volume and margin analysis

- Proficiency in SAP and financial systems.

- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

- Experience working with planning tools (e.g., Zeus, Vokus or similar).

- Knowledge of IFRS and IGAAP reporting requirements.

Analytical & Business Skills:

- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.

- Ability to analyze large datasets at a granular (6-digit) level.

- Strong understanding of contribution margins, operating results, and profitability analysis.

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work cross-functionally with Accounting, Logistics, and Business teams.

- Good time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.

- Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented approach.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.

- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) Preferred.
