Purpose of the Position (Short Summary of the Role):

- Work as Buyer for marketing services, event buying, consultancy, merchandise, media buying, hotels and other miscellaneous services related to sales and marketing.

- Responsible to steer, monitor and develop new supplier for competitive bidding and sustainable business growth / development.

- Must be able to work within the defined process and systems and should be able to work together with the team / team leader for improvement / betterment of process, if any.

- Buyer member should be strong in cross functional co-ordination and alignment to fulfil organizational goals of timely cost-efficient supplier onboarding.

- Support and prepare status reports for Department Head.

- Ensure accurate information in all reports and communications.

- Represent General Purchasing for the specific items, wherever necessary

- Create Purchase Orders in KSRM and SAP

- Release of Direct sourcing topics below 100.000 EUR in Globe after necessary approvals from HOD General Purchase

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

1. Achieve savings targets and KPIs established by SAVW India Management and VW Group Board as applicable.

2. Coordinate & work with various brands for the effective planning & execution of purchasing activities.

3. Preparation and monitoring of daily / weekly / strategic activities independently and along with the respective Head.

4. Timely approval of Bidders List, send RFQ, receive quotations, organize technical approvals and Shopping cart.

5. Get the new suppliers registered into B2B system, KSRM & SAP (documentation, follow up etc.)

6. Prepare price comparisons, benchmarking and plan the price negotiation (internal reviews, benchmarking, strategy etc.)

7. Prepare and conduct price negotiations with the suppliers.

8. Support the cost saving initiatives- localization, alternate sourcing etc.

9. Preparation and participation in Applicable Sourcing Committee SAmeetings and other decision-making forums.

10. Approval of relevant topics from respective Head and Globe (as per the approved limits).

11. Prepare Purchase Orders in KSRM and SAP and take necessary approvals. Accordingly send to the Suppliers

12. Handle Purchase Order change management.

13. Liasioning with Users, Finance etc. for Supplier related issues.

14. Adherence to the SAVW India and / or VW Group processes and procedures (wherever applicable).

15. Timely escalation of the issues (if any) to the respective Head
